Overview

About the Zebra RFD40 UHF RFID Sled

RFD40 UHF RFID Standard Sled — faster, smarter and ready for the future. Empower your workers and gain greater efficiency and performance built to last.

The RFD40 reads more than 1300 tags per second with a nominal read range of 40 ft (12 m), driven by Zebra proprietary radio technology and supporting the EPC Class 1 Gen2 and EPC Gen2 V2 standards. It runs on a PowerPrecision+ 7000 mAh quick-release lithium-ion battery, carries IP54 sealing, and withstands multiple drops from 5 ft/1.5 m to concrete plus 500 tumble cycles (1000 drops from 1.6 ft/0.5 m) at room temperature. The eConnex™ 8-pin connection, a USB-C cable or a USB cradle link the sled to Zebra mobile computers and tablets or to a Windows PC.
