Ruckus ICX-7150

The RUCKUS ICX 7150 is an enterprise-class stackable access switch family that delivers the performance, flexibility, and scalability required for enterprise access deployments — non-blocking performance with up to 8× 10 GbE SFP+ ports for uplinks or stacking. It interoperates seamlessly with RUCKUS wireless access points to deliver unified wired and wireless network access, while RUCKUS Multigigabit Ethernet (802.3bz) technology provides the bandwidth that the latest high-performance access points demand over standard Ethernet cabling.

The family comes in three formats. Standard 24- and 48-port 10/100/1000 Mbps models with four 1/10 GbE dual-purpose uplink/stacking ports are available with or without PoE+. The Z-Series ICX 7150-48ZP adds 16 multigigabit PoH ports delivering up to 90 W per port, a 1,480 W PoE budget with two power supplies, and dual hot-swappable power supplies and fans. Compact 10- and 12-port models are fanless, operating silently in out-of-closet environments such as offices, classrooms, and retail spaces, while the ICX 7150-24P and 48P offer a silent-mode option with a 150 W PoE budget.

RUCKUS stacking technology joins up to 12 switches into a single logical switch with 480 Gbps of aggregated stacking bandwidth and long-distance stacking up to 10 km, plus hitless failover and In-Service Software Upgrades (ISSU) for continuous availability. Switches are managed through the CLI, embedded web interface, SNMP, or RUCKUS SmartZone, RUCKUS Cloud, and RUCKUS Unleashed, and Campus Fabric technology scales to over 1,800 ports in a single logical domain.
