About the RUCKUS ICX 8200 Switch Series
The RUCKUS ICX 8200 switch series is purpose-built for next-generation wireless-first and IoT campus networks. These intelligent, scalable edge switches deliver enterprise-class functionality at an affordable price without compromising performance or reliability — every model ships with stacking as standard, a limited lifetime warranty and three years of remote TAC support included.
The family spans compact 8-port units, 24- and 48-port Gigabit models, Multigigabit PoE++ models and all-fiber configurations. PoE+ (802.3at) delivers 30 W on all PoE ports and PoE++ (802.3bt) delivers 60/90 W on multigigabit ports, with budgets of up to 1480 W using dual hot-swappable power supplies. Up to 8× 1/10/25 GbE SFP28 ports handle uplinks or stacking: up to 12 switches per stack, up to 1.2 Tbps of aggregated stacking bandwidth, and stacking distances of up to 10 km between units.
Management is unified across RUCKUS One (cloud), SmartZone (on premises) and the ICX CLI, with VXLAN support for advanced network segmentation and an optional premium license that adds OSPF, VRRP, VRF, GRE, PIM and PBR routing. As an authorized RUCKUS partner, Barrdega helps you match the right model and PoE budget to your campus — request a quote for project pricing.
