About the RUCKUS R370 Wi-Fi 7 Indoor AP
The RUCKUS R370 is an entry-level Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) indoor access point that brings enterprise-class wireless to budget-conscious organizations in a compact, low-profile package. It is designed for lower-density environments with smaller coverage areas — economy hotels and motels, small and medium-size businesses, retail locations, restaurants, multi-tenant small offices, student housing and branch offices — where guests and employees still expect the same fast, reliable connectivity they get anywhere else.
As a dual-band concurrent AP with 2x2:2 radios in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, the R370 delivers a combined data rate of up to 3.57 Gbps and serves up to 256 client devices across as many as 16 SSIDs. Wi-Fi 7 features such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and Preamble Puncturing improve efficiency in congested spectrum, while a built-in 2.5 GbE Ethernet port removes the wired backhaul bottleneck so the full Wi-Fi capacity reaches the network. The R370 also carries the patented technologies found in top-tier RUCKUS APs: ChannelFly dynamic channel selection, AI-driven Radio Resource Management, Adaptive Wi-Fi Cell Sizing and SmartCast traffic optimization for video and voice.
Deployment stays simple and affordable: the R370 runs on existing 802.3af/802.3at PoE switches over CAT 5e cabling, can form self-healing wireless mesh with RUCKUS SmartMesh, and is IoT ready through an optional USB BLE/Zigbee module (supported in a future update). Manage it from the cloud with RUCKUS One, on premises with SmartZone, or controller-less with Unleashed. As an authorized RUCKUS partner, Barrdega supplies the R370 (part number 901-R370-XX02, sold with a Limited Lifetime Warranty) with expert deployment guidance — request a quote for project pricing.
