Ruckus R550

The RUCKUS R550 is a mid-range, dual-band, dual-concurrent indoor access point built on Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). With 2x2:2 radio chains and streams on both bands, it reaches a combined peak PHY rate of 1,774 Mbps — 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz plus 1,200 Mbps on 5 GHz — and efficiently manages up to 512 concurrent clients per AP. What separates the R550 from generic Wi-Fi 6 hardware is RUCKUS RF engineering. BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas with polarization diversity choose from up to 64 unique antenna patterns per band, steering each transmission around interference rather than through it, while ChannelFly selects operating channels based on measured real-world capacity.
