About the RUCKUS T350 Outdoor Access Point
The RUCKUS T350 Series is a family of entry-level outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access points built for high-density outdoor public venues such as airports, convention centers, plazas, malls, smart cities and other dense urban environments. Crowded outdoor spaces combine thousands of users with constant RF noise, and poor coverage or dropped connections quickly translate into negative perceptions of the venue. The T350 answers with patented RUCKUS antenna-optimization and interference-mitigation technologies packed into an ultra-lightweight, low-profile enclosure that is IP-67 rated against dust and water, survives winds of up to 266 km/h (165 mph) and installs quickly on a pole, wall or flat surface with the mounting bracket included in the box.
A concurrent dual-band 2x2:2 design reaches peak PHY rates of 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1200 Mbps at 5 GHz — 1774 Mbps combined — while serving up to 512 clients and 31 SSIDs per AP. BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas direct radio signals per device on a packet-by-packet basis, choosing among up to 64 directional antenna patterns to extend coverage and reduce RF interference, while ChannelFly uses machine learning to keep traffic on the least congested Wi-Fi channels. The AP is powered over a single 1 GbE RJ-45 port via 802.3at PoE — drawing from 13.24 W (T350c) to 21.3 W (T350se) at full functionality — and can also run on 802.3af power budgets with USB and IoT disabled.
That same IP-67, dust- and water-rated enclosure makes the T350 an excellent fit for the harsh conditions in and around a warehouse or distribution center — dust, humidity, wash-down areas, refrigerated and freezer aisles, loading docks and high-bay ceilings that defeat ordinary indoor APs. An outdoor-rated AP mounted in the rafters or out on the yard delivers seamless coverage for forklift-mounted scanners, handheld terminals and IoT sensors across the entire facility, which is why Barrdega routinely specifies the T350 for warehouses, cold-storage plants and outdoor yards across Latin America.
Three models cover varied outdoor requirements: the T350c with internal omni antennas and a -20°C to 65°C operating range; the T350d, which extends operation down to -40°C and adds a USB 2.0 port, a 12 V DC input and an integrated switchable BLE/Zigbee IoT radio; and the T350se with an internal 120° sector antenna plus N-type connectors for external antennas.
