About the Ruckus T670 Outdoor Access Point
The RUCKUS T670 is a high-end Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) tri-band concurrent outdoor access point built for the most demanding open-air environments. It delivers six spatial streams — 2x2:2 in 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz — and is software-configurable to a 2x2:2 (2.4 GHz) + 4x4:4 (5 GHz) dual-band mode. With Multi-Link Operation (MLO), Preamble Puncturing, 4K QAM modulation and 320 MHz channels, it reaches a combined data rate of 9.34 Gbps, while a 100M/1/2.5/5 GbE Ethernet port minimizes the wired backhaul bottleneck so the full available Wi-Fi capacity can be used.
The T670 addresses increasing client demands in transit hubs, stadiums, conference centers and other high-traffic outdoor spaces, supporting up to 768 concurrent clients and up to 36 SSIDs per AP. An IP-67 weatherproof enclosure, a -40 °C to 65 °C operating range and 165 mph wind survivability keep it on the air in harsh conditions, while built-in GPS facilitates Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) for standard-power operation in the 6 GHz band. Patented BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas choose among 4,000+ antenna patterns per band in real time, and RUCKUS innovations such as Airtime Decongestion and Transient Client Management raise average throughput in heavily congested environments.
That same IP-67 enclosure and −40°C to 65°C operating range make the T670 an outstanding fit for the harsh conditions in and around a warehouse or distribution center — dust, humidity, wash-down areas, refrigerated and freezer aisles, loading docks and high-bay ceilings where ordinary indoor APs corrode, overheat or simply cannot throw signal far enough. Mounting outdoor-rated RUCKUS APs high in the rafters or out on the yard delivers seamless coverage for forklift-mounted scanners, handheld terminals and IoT sensors across the entire facility. Barrdega routinely specifies the T670 for warehouses, cold-storage plants and outdoor yards across Latin America.
Management is flexible whether you deploy ten APs or ten thousand: the RUCKUS One cloud, SmartZone physical or virtual appliances, and RUCKUS AI for network assurance and analytics. Security spans WPA3 with DPSK3 dynamic passphrases, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, and the AP is sold with a limited lifetime warranty. As an authorized RUCKUS partner, Barrdega supplies the T670 with expert design and configuration guidance — request a quote for project pricing.
