About the DS3600 Series Ultra-Rugged Scanner
The Zebra DS3600 series delivers unstoppable, relentless performance in the harshest environments. Built to take a beating and keep scanning faster and farther, these ultra-rugged scanners capture 1D and 2D barcodes, Direct Part Marks (DPM) and more — on the production line and throughout the warehouse from receiving to shipping.
Engineered for industrial duty, the DS3600 survives multiple drops to concrete from 10 ft / 3 m at room temperature and 7,500 tumbles, and carries a dual IP65 and IP68 environmental seal to handle dust, water and extreme temperatures from -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C). A 3100 mAh PowerPrecision+ rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers over 60,000 scans per full charge, while Class 1 Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) keeps cordless models connected at line-of-sight ranges of at least 300 ft (100 m).
The series connects through USB, RS232, keyboard wedge and industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP and standard TCP/IP), and includes Zebra's DataCapture DNA platform of intelligent firmware, utilities and applications.
