About the Zebra DS4608
The Zebra DS4600 Series for healthcare is the scanner that gives you more benefits: more versatility, more performance and more innovation. The DS4608 is the versatile healthcare scanner that delivers more benefits across the whole hospital, with whole-hospital scanning versatility.
The DS4608 reads a full set of 1D and 2D symbologies using a 1280 x 800 imaging sensor and a 528 nm circular green LED aiming pattern. It is engineered for daily, demanding use: the housing is designed to withstand multiple drops from 6.0 ft/1.8 m to concrete and 2000 tumbles from 1.5 ft/0.5 m, carries an IP52 environmental sealing rating, and connects over USB, RS232 and TGCS (IBM) 46XX via RS485. Complementary industry-preferred management tools and DataCapture DNA simplify deployment and let you transform the scanners from the inside.
