Overview

About the LI4278 Handheld Scanner

The Zebra LI4278 is a wireless general-purpose linear imager that represents the latest generation in 1D imaging scanning. Built for all-day, everyday use, it delivers cordless freedom with a Bluetooth v2.1 Class 2 radio that reaches up to 330 ft / 100 m line of sight, so cashiers and stock associates can scan items inside and outside of the cash wrap without being tethered to a cable.

The LI4278 captures virtually any 1D barcode — from traditional paper labels to codes shown on a mobile phone, tablet or computer screen — at 547 scans per second using a single bright aiming line and a 617 nm amber Class 1 LED. Its replaceable rechargeable battery delivers up to 57,000 scans (72 hours) per charge, well beyond a single shift in the highest-usage profiles. An IP53-sealed, drop-resistant housing survives drops from 6 ft / 1.8 m onto concrete, and complimentary tools such as 123Scan and Remote Scanner Management (RSM) make enterprise-wide deployment and management simple. As a Zebra partner, Barrdega can help you choose the right LI4278 configuration for your operation.
